Colorado Adventures 2012-Day 8

I woke up exhausted and tired from the hike up See Forever.  I didn't want to do anything until the afternoon but sit around and be lazy for a day.  It was also a very special day, due to the fact it was my sister Talia's birthday!  August 16th, celebrating 19 years of age!  Talia was given the choice of what she wanted to do for her birthday.  My sister has great taste, she chose to hike a the Bear Creek Trail to Bear Creek Falls, another one of the many great places to explore within the Telluride area.  She also wanted to follow the hike up with a pizza birthday dinner at a well known restaurant in Telluride.

Hiking the Bear Creek Trail to Bear Creek Falls was incredible, and the falls were very scenic.  Birdwise, highlights along the trail was a family of three American Dippers, Hammond's Flycatcher, Golden-crowned Kinglet, Hermit Thrush, Brown Creeper, and Downy Woodpecker.  The entire family had a great time.  Here are a few pictures from the Bear Creek Trail.  Happy Birthday to you Talia!
